Summary of The Recovery Agent
The Recovery Agent is a fast-paced and fun adventure thriller that introduces Gabriela Rose, a professional treasure hunter who works for clients who have lost something valuable. Gabriela is smart, brave, and skilled in weapons and martial arts, but she also has a personal stake in her latest assignment: finding the legendary Seal of Solomon, a ring that supposedly belonged to King Solomon and has the power to control demons.
Gabriela’s family believes that the ring is part of the treasure that the pirate Blackbeard hid in Peru, and they need it to save their home from foreclosure.
However, Gabriela is not the only one looking for the ring. She has to contend with a ruthless drug lord who wants to use the ring for his own nefarious purposes, as well as her ex-husband Rafer, who has the only map that can lead them to the treasure. Rafer is a charming and laid-back adventurer who still has feelings for Gabriela, but also enjoys teasing and infuriating her. The two have to work together to overcome the dangers and obstacles that await them in the jungle, while also dealing with their unresolved issues and sparks of attraction.
